A word from the creator

Hi all, my name is Ricardo Kawase, creator of FireMe!

I am a phd student at L3S research center in Hannover, Germany. Despite of what many news Web sites are saying, I am Brazilian. I developed FireMe! in June 2012 in order to research online user social behavior. The research results will be presented at ACM Web Science 2013 conference, May 2-4th - Paris. If you have the chance, come to see my talk.

During the research phase of the project, I was assisted by Bernardo Pereira Nunes(PUC-Rio/L3S), Dr. Eelco Herder(L3S), Prof. Wolfgang Nejdl(L3S) and Prof. Marco Antonio Casanova(PUC-Rio).

Publication: Ricardo Kawase, Bernardo Pereira Nunes, Eelco Herder, Wolfgang Nejdl, Marco Antonio Casanova - Who Wants To Get Fired? Proceedings ACM Web Science Conference, Web Science 2013, WebSci'13, Paris, France, May 2-4, 2012.

I would like to give special thanks to Bernardo (@bernardopnunes), who has been supporting me in keeping FireMe! running and developing. Additional thanks go out to Niall Firth (@niallfirth) and his beautiful article about FireMe! - the first to came online.

Finally, I would like to add that I truly hope no one gets fired because of FireMe!, I hope people get responsible.

Thank you all for the support.
